Stella Damasus, Julius Agwu, The Future Project, 7 others for Orange Reception into the Hall of Fame.

Its operation “Get Your Orange Ribbon On” in July as Creative 5 World, organizers of the Charity Lounge Lagos, would host all 10 nominees in the 2nd Edition of the highly reputed recognition for community trend setters. At the invitation-only media and VIP Nominees Reception slated for Thursday 12 July 2012 at Terra Kulture, all nominees will be inducted into the elite ‘Hall of Fame for Community Service’. The Official Induction Ceremony of the fantastic five which Includes Nollywood Star Stella Damasus, Pop artiste Innocent ’2face’ Idibia, Comedian Julius Agwu, Broadcaster Funmi Iyanda and Corporate Executive, Gerald Azonobo and those shortlisted for the initiatives are The Future Project, Lamboginny Say No to Crime, Save Laura Campaign, Bake for Change and Kuth Foundation .It will also be an avenue to raise money for St .Patrick Language centre for children living with Autism. The Event Partners are Digital Interactive Media, Zapphaire Event and Peekaboo Global Consult.

TT Dalk, SRC clothings, Marco Martinez, Façuade are some of the popular names that will grace the Orange Reception Runway to unveil collections in admiration to supporting a good cause. AY TV’s Ushbebe and Ladun Olagbegi will be on hand to anchor the programme while youthful and vibrant entertainment will envelop the atmosphere with performances by fast rising artistes both from the world of comedy and music. The event would be filmed for broadcast exclusively on Excite on TV. ALI BABA IS GRAND PATRON.

According to the organizers, Creative 5 World, the quarterly Charity Lounge Lagos in its second edition, have raised the bar with the introduction of recognizing public spirited individuals & institutions who have contributed immensely to Community Service.

In a Statement signed by Seyifunmi Ajimushe for Creative 5 World, the maiden edition practice started with recognizing three celebrities like Michael Collins (Don Jazzy), Tosyn Bucknor and Ronke Apampa, they also supported three charity homes which included the Holy Family Home for the Elderly, Lagos Cheshire Home for the Handicapped and Bethesda Home for the Blind to serve as a model to others.

According to her, in subsequent editions, their patrons made up of distinguished Nigerians will examine people, projects & organisations that are changing lives and in making their final selection.

She informed that the Hall of Fame Induction ceremony will involve both their Patrons and Ambassadors.

Seyifunmi, who said this quarter theme is “Fantastic Five: Attributes of a Good Neighbor” noted that the induction has been designed to recognize these ‘Wonder Men & Women’ wh0 are living their lives in the overhaul of others, which also aims to secure sponsorship for charity homes as well as raise awareness about the roles organisation can play with emphasis on their responsibility towards social development in Nigeria.

“Their renowned simplicity of not seeking attention endears them to us. We share these ‘fantastic five’ zeal to leave this world better than the way they met it, we appeal for support in all result to deliver on our promises, the Hall of Fame says a lot of what a person represents. It is a life guide and best companion to our people,” she stated.
