Top African models including Nigeria’s Bisi Sowemimo and Ify Jones, Ladybrille’s former Miss Tanzania and Ford model Millen Magese, America’s Next Top Model’s (ANTM) Aminat Ayinde/ANTM Cycle 12, Fatima Siad ANTM/Cycle 10 and former Miss Teen New Jersey Eremene Clerjuste came together to strut the runway for African designers African Mosaique, Louda, Maatano and David Tlale, among others.
The much anticipated event was the first Global Fashion show presented this year with its first recipient,The Bisila Bokoko Africa Literacy Project (BBALP) by Ladybrille Woman Bisila Bokoko. Guests at the event included Bokoko, Gbenga Akinnagbe’ The Wire’ on HBO, Supermodel Oluchi Onweagba, and Miss Universe 1999 Mpule Kwelagobe from Botswana.
