We love what Ghanaian designer Mina Evans has done with her latest collection titled ‘Finura.’ She chose one floral/print design and added five key colors (mostly neutral colors) to the mix: Navy blue, white, black, grey and pink. Then, her job was to sell us on how simplicity can be quite sexy. She zoomed our focus in on the importance of shape and fit and while we took it all in, she reminded us that we could have fun and not be too uptight with adding some fun design details. Notice the fringe beading and embellishments on her dresses? The Ladybrille (brilliant) Mina Evans woman we see is classy, mature, elegant, knows who and what she is about and she lets her outward style do all the talking. Overall, a clean and structured collection with simple yet eloquent styling that speaks to us. We like!
