LADYBRILLEmag.com is Loving Mataano by “Africa’s Olsen Twins?”

Ladybrillemag.com is loving Mataano. Barely two years old, the label Mataano which means ‘twins’ in Somali language is the work of twin sisters Ayaan and Idyl. The duo were born in Somali but relocated to Washington DC for a better future. The twins are   graduates of Boston University and The University of Michigan. Not necessarily setting out to be, but fast being dubbed “Africa’s Olsen Twins,” by many,  they were featured on Oprah in 2008 for their entrepreneurial sense and success in a show titled ‘Young Millionaire Moguls.’

Beyond their obvious brilliance, we are specifically loving their Spring 2010 collection. Check on a few images from their Spring 2010 collection.
