To our Ladybrile designers and design students on the East Coast, join fashion designer and musician Keanan Duffty and Fashion Institute of Technology’s Dean for the School of Graduate Studies Mary Davis for a talk on fashion, music, and everything in between. Davis holds a Ph.D. and A.M. degrees in musicology from Harvard University. While heading the music department at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland before arriving at FIT, she served as the university’s liaison to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Museum.
Duffty is an award-winning British fashion designer, musician, and author of Rebel Rebel Anti-Style. He dressed the Sex Pistols for their 2003 American tour and in 2007 collaborated with David Bowie to create a fashion collection for Target.
