LA Fashion Week wins Major Support for its Upcoming Fall/Winter 2018 Season

LA Fashion Week (LAFW) will be hosting its 2018 Fall/Winter runway presentations March 16th to March 18th, in the heart of Hollywood, at the modern and stylish new Neuehouse Studios. In partnership with Porsche Beverly Hills, Entertainment Tonight, and Cosmoprof North America, the LAFW Fall Winter 2018 will feature a wide variety of award-winning designers and artists from all around the world. 

Praised for “raising awareness of cultural diversity and creativity in the United States,” Executive Producer, Arthur T. Chipman and the LA Fashion Week Team were recently recognized by the honorable office of Michelle & Barack Obama for being innovators in the industry.

“LA is going through a cultural renaissance and we are excited to be a driving force behind its development into the premier hub for fashion, art, design and entertainment,” says Arthur Chipman, the Executive Producer at LAFW. “Our city is surging with energy and artistic talent, and we cannot wait to unveil this season’s offerings.”

LA Fashion Week aims to be a crossroads of both distinct West Coast and International labels, of womenswear and men fashion, and of a wide range of creative universes. Some of the notables from this Fall/ Winter 2018 lineup includes;

  • Betty Tran (Australia) Chic contemporary label designed for adventurous women
  • Anuar Layon (Mexico) Streetwear innovator known for cultural references
  • Noe Bernacelli (Peru) Celebrity couturier famous for his silhouettes  
  • Maison The Faux (Amsterdam) Acclaimed for its’ extravagant over the top looks
  • Michael Leyva (Philippines) prominent for his elegant & timeless eveningwear
  • Shani James (USA), LA-based stylist & designer, famous for her flamboyant looks.

The Official Fashion Week of Los Angeles as declared by Mayor Eric Garcetti, LAFW has established itself as LA’s most esteemed fashion event, maintaining the support of the city of Los Angeles and California State Senator, Ben Allen. Former First Lady Michelle Obama also recognizes LA Fashion Week for its innovative programs supporting cultural diversity in the United States. Featured FW18/19 season’s partners include Porsche of Beverly Hills, Cosmoprof, Entertainment Tonight, and Buzzfeed.

LAFW FW18/19 commences with its Opening Night Gala on March 16th, 2018.
