Korto Momolu, one of our favorite Ladybrille rockstar fashion designer, is Ladybrille Woman of the Month. On August 4th, 2008, we introduced Korto Momolu to the world wide web, in an exclusive granted by NBC and Korto. Millions of Americans, at the time, where just beginning to see this personality on Bravo TV’s Project Runway Season 5 but no one really knew her, much less her African background.
Since then, Korto Momolu has come full circle from being one of the lucky designers to show at New York Fashion Week to retailing her accessories at Dillards, among many achievements.
This month, where we celebrate all things fashion and New York Fashion Week, Ladybrille comes full circle with the brilliant designer in our interview with her on her designs, the business of fashion and getting her designs to market, among many topics! Momolu will also be showing her latest Spring 2012 collection this Friday during New York Fashion Week. Stay tuned for Ladybrille coverage of that show.
