LOS ANGELES, CA – NOVEMBER 2013 — TotallyHer Media’s theFashionSpot (tFS) (www.thefashionspot.com), the web’s largest fashion-focused community and fashion editorial site, announced today the launch of the first annual tFS Style Awards, ‘The Tiffies’, recognizing exceptional contributions in the world of fashion. Voting begins today and continues through November 17th.
theFashionSpot was inspired to start the awards after seeing unofficial versions on its by-invitation-only forum of over 70,000 fashion influencer members. To reflect the passion of its community, tFS created 11 categories including Best Designer Collection, Designer of the Year, Top Female Model, Most Stylish: Red Carpet, Most Stylish: Street Style, Best Magazine Cover, Best Ad Campaign Print, along with two honorary awards for Racial Diversity and Ethical Fashion. The forum members were then exclusively asked to nominate their top picks for each category. Each category was tallied, the finalists selected and now voting is open to the public. Winners will be announced in December.
