Swahili Fashion Week now accepting designer submissions for 9th annual edition!

Swahili Fashion Week is the biggest and largest annual fashion event in East and Central Africa providing a platform for fashion and accessory designers from Swahili speaking countries; and beyond to showcase their talent, market their creativity and network with clientele and the international fashion industry.

This is all aimed at emphasizing to the region that fashion is an income generating creative industry, while promoting a “Made in Africa”concept. Swahili Fashion Week was founded in 2008 by Tanzanian doctor turned couturier/designer Mustafa Hassanali. 2016 will mark the Ninth edition of the Annual Event.

Swahili Fashion Week will be held from December 2-4, 2016.

Deadline to apply to showcase your collection is September 22, 2016.
