SOBER
Sober SS16
Freedom ‒ greater than the right to act, speak or think. ‘People are often curious about the reason I named my label ‘Sober’, often misconstrued with substance-abuse issues. It is time to set the record straight. ‘Sober’ is to me as a designer, my journey, my beliefs and what I stand for. Sober Design House was born out of my inability to conform and embrace my passion whole-heartedly, my disdain for mediocrity. I push forward even when circumstances would not have it and most of all, keep it REAL! This collection will exude all that encompasses our signature; functionality, distinction, a fine balance between soft feminine lines and strong aesthetic, attention to detail, confident clothing made for the ego. That’s what we are known for.’ Tshepo Mafokwane.

LOAYO ART & CREATIONS
Laoyo Art Creations SS16
Accessories by EG Jewllery
The worlds of art and fashion have always shared a close bond. Loayo Art & Creations is the fusion of those two worlds. I am an artist, painter and sculptor, and I have been painting for the last 18 years – exhibiting and selling my artworks in different countries. My other passion is designing clothing. Coming from a family background where making clothes had always been around me, I developed a passion to design and create pieces of clothes at a young age. The concept behind my fashion, is the possibility to wear an artwork instead of framing it indoors on a wall – every garment becomes a story to tell. Loayo Art & Creations offers one the opportunity to buy, own and carry an exclusive work of art that can effect one’s mood and emotions. All Loayo’s garments are designed and manufactured in South Africa.
