The epitome of urban chic, Sober Design House was launched by, Head Designer, Tshepo Mafokwane, who discovered she was incapable of accepting both the conformity and mediocrity she found surrounding her. Her design signature speaks a language of bold, ultra-feminine shapes, with tailored shoulders and waists, which are contrasted with unexpected touches of softness and sparkle. This label is available in several boutiques in Gauteng. A former fashion design graduate from the Tshwane University of Technology, Tshepo, boldly celebrates all women and their tremendous ability to conquer anything. Sober is stocked at Artistic Souls Boutique, Kloset Republic, Shoenelli CC t/a, Wild Iris, Zando and Spree.

SIES!isabelle is a clothing brand that surfs on the tides of Isabelle Lotter’s madness. The main philosophy remains – to create flattering, feminine fabric sculptures that one can wear anywhere, clothing that compliments rather than eclipses one – but the setting changes. “We are evolving to cater to a more conscientious customer, one who believes in Vivienne Westwood’s mantra – buy less, choose well and make it last. I’ve also experienced a sharp rise in the popularity of our studio/boutique and enjoy inviting like-minded creatives, muses and clients into my space. Creativity does not survive in an ivory tower but feeds off everyday noise.”
