Fashion Weeks

Rachel de Mardt – South Africa Fashion Week 2012 (Pictures) #SAFW #Africanfashion

“After matriculating, Rachel de Mardt went to study at the renowned Parsons School of Design in New York, USA. During which time she really developed her own sense of design style and started creating classic, sophisticated and glamorous garments. She reaches out to the confident woman who has a sense of appreciation for high-end fashion and design. Rachel defines her signature black dresses as the epitome of what she is about as a designer, bold, chic, with a heightened glamour-appeal.

The inspiration for her Summer Collection was strongly influenced by two great photographers, Guy Bourdin and David Bailey. This year she hopes to continue expanding her brand and would like to take it internationally.”
