MTN Lagos Fashion & Design Week Spring/Summer 2013: House of Form and Function #LFDW

We are unsure what House of Form and Function really means or stands for. But if we were to guess, it seems there is a collection targeted to the average working class Nigerian man, hence the form. While the function represents the traditional attires with a modern twist suitable for events such as weddings and parties.

The problem here is we felt the collection needed to be fused into one voice without making us feel like we are watching to different designers on one platform showing at the same time. We preferred the modern twist on the traditional garments shown and feel designers could incorporate these aesthetics designs into their everyday suits for the Nigerian man.

Enjoy a few images from the show.
