Nigeria’s beauty industry genealogy would be incomplete without Tara Fela Durotoye. Durotoye, attorney turned makeup artist and serial entrepreneur, is the managing and creative director for House of Tara International, Nigeria’s first makeup school company established to elevate the beauty industry standards as well as train the next generation of beauty experts. She is also founder of the makeup brand ‘Tara Orekelewa,’ and fragrance line ‘Be Inspired.’ While she accumulates wealth, she gives back in large measures. To date, Tara has trained over three (300) young women in her makeup school. She also helped with new entrepreneurs as part of her Mary Kay styled H.O.T. beauty independent consultants.
