Fun, high fashion, music, dance, beauty, glamour and food was all guests at the Kinabuti Elite Fashion Night out enjoyed on 30th April 2011. Held at Reeds Bar lounge and Restaurant, Ikoyi, there was never a dull moment as most of the night, guests were on their feet, not wanting to miss out on anything.
Some of the celebrities in attendance were ex-MBGN and style icon Omowumi Akinnifesi, hip-hop artistes Sasha and Duncan Mighty, whose performances made the guest ecstatic. The Kinabuti collection, a combo of colorful Ankara and shoulder ruffles made of lace was also a stunning sight to behold.
The brain behind the event, Caterina Bortolussi, clad in ‘aso-oke’ skirt and bluse, expressed her excitement and happiness throughout the night for the turn out. The Kinabuti Elite Fashion Night was organized to raise funds in order to continue implementing social, educational and artistic projects to improve the lives of disadvantaged communities in Nigeria. Kinabuti, an ethically driven fashion labe,l is created by Italian designer and entrepreneur Caterina Bortolussi.
The fund raising event was organized in collaboration with the exquisite Grey Goose Vodka, Smooth 98.1FM, Fab Magazine and Storm 360 degrees.
