Contrary to the belief that Nigeria is out of the ongoing 2010 South Africa World Cup, Nigeria is seen this time not on the pitch but on stage as the famous Nigerian R&B/Hip Hop artist Tuface Idibia popularly known as ‘Tu Baba’ will be performing at today’s event.
The program will hold at the Soccer City Stadium in Soweto, Johannesburg where the final match of the 19th edition of the world cup between Spain and the Netherlands will be attended by various celebrities and VIPs.
Also, singing at the World Cup Final is Colombian Pop Star Shakira. Shakira will sing the tournament’s anthem ‘Waka Waka’.
Other artists lined up for the show include Grammy Award Winner Ladysmith Black Mambazo, Stoan Seate, Abigail Kubeka, Jozi, Nianell and the flutist Wouter, Zuluboy, Slikour, Ghana’s Samini and popular local traditional group Ihashi Elimhlophe.
