Fashion Business Series | Lagos Fashion & Design Week 2015

“The inaugural Fashion Business Series was held on October 24th 2013 during Lagos Fashion and Design Week 2013. The theme was “Building from Within”, specifically chosen to inspire all stakeholders of the need to work together towards sustainable growth. Lagos Fashion and Design Week is a multi day fashion event platform which aims to drive the Nigerian fashion industry and lift its profile by bringing together buyers, consumers and the media to view the current collections of designers in the fashion capital of Lagos, Nigeria. Beyond the event, Lagos Fashion and Design Week is a platform that’s succeeded in repositioning fashion as a useful tool for commerce and creativity in Nigeria.

Fashion Business Series is scheduled to take place during Lagos Fashion and Design Week 2015. October 29th to October 30st and is themed “Made In Nigeria – Beyond The Obstacles”. Despite the Nigerian fashion industry’s current weaknesses, a bright future lies ahead for the blossoming industry. With investments in quality, innovation, productivity, services and value creation, opportunities are endless for the industry to thrive. This season, Fashion Business Series is targeted at exploring innovative ways for the Nigerian fashion and retail industry to create a winning model for “Made in Nigeria” to succeed.
