D'Banj & Robin Thicke to Perform at Chris Aire's Unveiling of Nigerian Gold & Gemstones in Hollywood!

LadybrilleNigeria just received the exclusive from the Chris Aire camp that MTV Africa & Europe Music Awards winner D’Banj aka “Kokomaster” and Grammy Award Winner Robin Thicke will provide musical performances for the night at the “Chris Aire Hollywood Glamour Collection featuring Nigeria’s Pride (Nigerian Gold & Gemstones).”  Talk about up’ing the ante for what it appears will be a fun and exciting show!

Mo’Hits Record’s Dapo Daniel Oyebanjo aka D’Banj, a showman with compelling stage presence, first performed in the USA in July 2007 at the Nigeria Reunion Convention (Read LadybrilleNigeria’s Uduak Oduok’s intriguing interview with the Kokomaster here). Since 2007, D’Banj has performed on even more platforms across Africa. This, however, will be his second performance in the USA and this time he gets to share the stage with one of the best voices in the music business, Robin Thicke!

Robin Thicke is no stranger to the music business. Signed with Intertrak/Interscope Records, Thicke cites names like Marvin Gaye, Stevie Wonder, Prince, The Beatles as some of his influences. The simply beautiful and sexy R &B crooner’s ‘Lost Without U’ from Thicke’s2006 Evolution album remains an anthem in the hearts of millions. Thicke is also contributed his talent andsong writing skills to Usher’s 2004 “Confessions” album. An Album that won Thicke his first Grammys.

“Chris Aire Hollywood Glamour Collection featuring Nigeria’s Pride (Nigerian Gold & Gemstones)” takes place on April 7th, 2010 at the Beverly Hills Hotel in Los Angeles. The exclusive event features a cocktail reception at 8:00pm and a runway show a 9:00pm.
