Dangerously in Obsidian Fashion 'Control'

If image is everything, then you should “control” yours in one of Isoken Ogiemwonyi’s “Obsidian Control” Spring/Summer 2010 Collection. The collection “references the film noir genre, particularly Rita Hayworth in ‘ The Lady From Shanghai’,” explains Ogiemwonyi. “Her character embodied the traditional ‘femme fatale’ of the time. She was graceful, ultra-feminine and irresistible. Who wouldn’t want to be that woman?”

Most women would want to be “that woman,” and Ogiemwonyi’s collection features 10 looks with a focus on design details to make her stand out: black and neon petal fringe, black silk organza mini dress with braid detailing and pinkcotton-candy pleat detail silk organza dress gown with a sparkly, sequined bodice.

“‘I don’t like to belabor references, but I believe ultimately, every woman wants to be in control of her image and you can be powerful, and in control without losing your femininity—simple but superb,” adds Ogiemwonyi.
Indeed.
