African Cinema: Hollywood-Nollywood Director Pascal Atuma to Release “THE TRACE” (Photos & Trailer)

The Trace Pascal Atuma 2Prolific Hollywood-Nollywood hit maker Director Pascal Atuma is at it again. After successful releases and distribution of his movies American Nurse and Hurricane in the Rose Garden, among others, he is set to release his latest movie ‘The Trace’ this summer with a premiere in Nigeria on June 29th, 2013 and a subsequent release in the US and worldwide.

The film tells the story of the consequences that occur when you mix business with pleasure. When love, betrayal and business collide it produces tension soaked drama and possible catastrophe.

The story is about Stanley  a member of a notorious gang who falls in love with Lily, the daughter of a very wealthy man. Stanley’s gang upon knowing about Stanley’s love interest demand that he  orchestrate a fraud scheme so they could scam Lily’s father. In other instances, such a request would be no big deal. However, since it is Lily’s father, Stanley is reluctant to do so. What happens when Stanley says “no” to his gang? What happens to his relationship with Lily?

THE TRACE, is a dramatic film infused with comedy that will keep the audience entertained and glued to their seats until the very last second.
