Adena T. Friedman currently serves as President of Global Capital Access, Technology & Insights for Nasdaq. She was formerly the managing director and CFO of The Carlyle Group. In May 2014, it was announced that Friedman would return to NASDAQ OMX as the president of global corporate and information technology solutions.As of 2014, she is listed as the 69th most powerful woman in the world by Forbes.
She earned a BA in political science from Williams College and an MBA from Vanderbilt University’s Owen Graduate School of Management.
