Yahoo! Movies United Kingdown recently listed Nollywood (Nigeria’s film industry) A-List actress Omotola Jalade-Ekeinde as one of the world’s highest grossing movie stars you’ve probably never heard of.

What of the actors who have achieved great success but receive no recognition for their work? In reading this article, I couldn’t help but wonder whether this is flattering or just an indication that Yahoo! Movies UK is seriously lagging in staying on the pulse of news stories in its niche. In 2013, Omotola was featured as one of Time Magazine’s ‘100 Most Influential People in the World’ alongside Michelle Obama, Beyonce and Kate Middleton.
