South Africa’s best musicians, celebrity guests and music fans gathered at the Sun City Super Bowl for the 15th Annual South Africa Music Awards in May. Leading the pack in winning awards for the night was the brilliant songstress Lira signed with record label Sony BMG Africa.
Lira walked away with four awards: Best Female Artist, Album of the Year, Best Adult Contemporary Album-English and Best Remix of the Year, “Feel Good.” Another Ladybrille winner was the band Freshly Ground who won Best Global Chart DVD-Live!
