V Magazine and Nicki Minaj, Seriously this Ain’t No Africa or “Inspired” Africa!

*Sigh* Nicki Minaj is considered a rising style icon. Yet, when V Magazine shoots her for their latest issue, all they can come up with is a tried, true and tested “tribal” stereotypical view of Africa? There seems to be absolutely no effort to capture the so called artistic side of Nicki even with the “tribal” face painting.  Maybe Nicki’s “Massive Attack” video below is what inspired this shoot from V magazine? Did we miss something? “Inspired by Africa?” V Magazine, Nicki Minaj, seriously, this ain’t no Africa or “inspired” “tribal” Africa for that matter.

Nikki minaj is a crazy artist and that is why she is mostly talked about.her style is woderous and thats why lil kim is beefing.keep up nikki after all lady gaga did the same.

  2. You say "There seems to be absolutely no effort to capture the so called artistic side of Nicki". Well, at least it conveys the MADNESS side of her- if that is artistic (as it is by Lady Gaga standards).

  3. When has the clown style ever been an image to covet? Fashion icon to who? Put a pair of borrowed designer shoes and designers clothes on her doesn't make her a fashion icon. At least Grace Jones lived the life. I'll pass, poor dear.
