Photos: SPICE TV Presents Love’s Wild Fashion Film & Editorial

SPICE TV, Africa’s first 24/7fashion channel, brings fashion magazine vibes to the small screen with the first in a series of themed fashion films and editorials.

Titled Love’s Wild, SPICE’s self-produced film is a short love story exploring the theme of love; the love shared between friends and a man and a woman, and a love of Nigerian fashion.

The 3-minute film is the first of SPICE’s monthly releases, which will be coupled with an accompanying fashion editorial – both of which will take on a different theme each month.

Love’s Wild will air from Valentine’s Day 2014 and is scheduled to show throughout the month of February. The editorial shoot will be published on the SPICE website, showcasing numerous Nigerian brands and designers, including Lanre Da Silva, Nkwo, Bridget Awosika, Okunoren Twins and Ayo Van Elmar.

Speaking of the brand’s debut film (directed and shot by 37th State) and the shoot (photographed by Yetunde Babaeko), creative director, Pepper Okwesa-Chikezie, says: “Love’s Wild is a simple yet striking depiction of love between two individuals and a love of Nigerian fashion. Through this new monthly project, SPICE aims to continually promote and present African fashion locally and internationally, whilst working with passionate, talented and creative individuals in the fashion and arts industry. Continuing our commitment towards innovation in the industry, each month our editorials will take on new themes and new concepts that resonate with and inspire our viewers.”

Viewers can catch Love’s Wild from Friday 14th February on SPICE TV, via DSTV Channel 192. The first full editorial shoot will be revealed on the SPICE TV website www.myspice.tv at 9am the same day, where the film will also be available to watch.
