Rebranding Nigeria: Good People, Great Nation, Really? (Video)

Nigeria In March 2009, President Umaru Yar’Adua unveiled a new logo and slogan as part of the administration’s efforts to rebrand the country’s image,globally. The slogan “Nigeria: Good People, Great Nation” has a nice ring to it, but the slogan in and of itself does not make the nation great; neither does it transform it into a rebranded country.

The fundamental questions still need to be asked. For example, how exactly is the government rebranding Nigeria? Since our focus on LadybrilleNigeria is fashion, what exactly at this point does the government have in place in terms of electricty, a critical aspect of rebranding Nigeria and Nigeria’s fashion businesses?
