Poetry for Charity, Volume 2, Help Us Help the Less Fortunate

poetryforcharity
Dear Readers, Friends of Ladybrille® & Guests,

Using our God given talents to serve the less fortunate is something that is very close to my heart. It is indeed the underlying passion that drove me to create and execute what is now Ladybrille. I am therefore very pleased to announce the release and my wholehearted support of the book Poetry for Charity, Volume 2, conceived and executed by one of our Ladybrille contributors, Chiedu Ifeozo.

Chiedu, a published Poet, also carries the same conviction that to whom much is given, much is expected. He felt he could make a difference with his Poetry so he created and executed an idea were poets and writers contribute a poem each as a joint effort for a poetry book. Using the power of social media [Facebook, twitter etc.], all contributors would create a demand for the book, the book would sell and all proceeds would be donated to Charities.

It was a great idea! Poetry for Charity Volume I launched last year and has been successful. All proceeds from Volume I was donated to the charity organization With love from friends (WLFF)-These Genes-Against illiteracy poverty and AIDS(AIPA).

Chiedu continues this great act with Poetry for Charity, Volume II. I am fortunate and honored to be a part of this great project with a poem I contributed called, “The Pain.” “The Pain” deals with the courage to confront deep emotional pain. Please join Chiedu, myself and the other great people involved in this project to help us help those who really need help with your purchase of Poetry for Charity, Volume 2 today at Lulu’s. A digital copy is only $5.00. Paperback cost $10.98.
Charities to benefit from Volume II:
Stepping Stones Nigeria, an organization actively involved in the protection of so called “Child Witches.”
Little Saints Orphanage
Crystal Vision
