Omarosa Turns off ‘Bitch Switch’ to Find Love in New Reality Show

OmarosaOmarosa Manigault-Stallworth may have been fired halfway through the first season of “The Apprentice,” but Donald Trump is hoping to cash in once again on the woman whose name is synonymous with reality-show villainy.

A new show on TV One, “Donald J. Trump Presents: The Ultimate Merger,” offers 12 accomplished bachelors the chance to compete for Omarosa’s hand. The twist? None of the men knew who their conquest would be until the show started filming.

Omarosa herself was surprised when she met her 12 contenders: turns out the show’s producers included two men whom she had already dated — a foreign-currency trader named Charles, and the R&B singer and producer Al B. Sure!. On the show, Omarosa said of Sure! that when they dated, “he didn’t close the deal.” (Sure!, interestingly enough, has a teenage son with Sean “Diddy” Combs’ longtime on-again off-again girlfriend, Kim Porter.)

Other men vying for Omarosa’s attention on “The Ultimate Merger” include Ray Lavender, another R&B singer whose latest song is called “Text Me a Pic,” and Arizona Cardinals linebacker Isaac Keys. A preview for the show, which premieres Thursday at 9pm, gives viewers a taste of the drama to come, and it seems like typical reality dating show fare: lots of kissing, hot-tub scenes, massages, sniping between contestants, proclamations of love, and the moment where the object of affection cries and feels betrayed. Only this time, it’s the ostensibly cold Omarosa doing the crying (“I feel like I’ve been duped”), giving the drama extra weight. . .” more here.
