Billionaire Robert F. Smith Promises to Pay Off Up to $40 Million in Student Loans for 2019 Moorehouse Graduates – Watch his Speech

Billionaire and philanthropist Robert F. Smith, a personality we have profiled here at Ladybrille, recently stunned the world with his promise to pay off the school loans of the 2019 graduating class at Moorehouse College.

According to Wikipedia, “Morehouse College is a private, all-male, historically black college in Atlanta, Georgia. The college is one of the few remaining traditional men’s liberal arts colleges in the United States…Morehouse is one of two historically black colleges in the country to produce Rhodes Scholars, and it is the alma mater of many African-American community and civil leaders, including Martin Luther King Jr.”

The billionaire will gift Moorehouse with the funds. The school will in turn use the funds to pay off the student loan debts of its approximately 396 graduates in the graduating class. What a gift and one we are sure every Moorehouse parent whose child is a recipient of Smith’s generosity is very happy!

Watch the Robert F. Smith commencement speech that has the world talking and congrats to all recipients!
