LIVE STREAM: ‘African Brain Trust,’ a Year in Review – Rep. Karen Bass, National Security Advisor Susan Rice, Director Tom Frieden to Headline

Rep Karen BasWASHINGTON, DC—As part of the Congressional Black Caucus Foundation’s Annual Legislative Conference, Rep. Karen Bass (D-Calif.) will host the annual “Africa BrainTrust” featuring a keynote address from U.S. National Security Advisor Susan Rice.

In addition, a panel with Dr. Tom Frieden, director of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, will examine the state of Africa’s healthcare systems following the Ebola epidemic. Also, U.S. Trade Representative Michael Froman will participate in a dialogue on the future of trade between the United States and the nations of Africa.
