ACCRA- Organizers of Ghana Fashion & Design Week (GFDW) have announced a partnership with luxury car brand Mercedes-Benz. The partnership is the first of its kind for GFDW and is supported by Silver Star Auto Ltd. Ghana, who are the sole and leading agent of the luxury car brand in Ghana.
“We are honoured to have the support of Silver Star Auto Ltd. (SSAL) Ghana, who shares in our innovative ideas and vision for creative industry and talent development through design education and entrepreneurship for social and economic inclusion,” said organizers in a press statement.
Organizers promise several events to enhance Ghana and Africa’s fashion ecosystem at large. They include:
New Talent Spot™ initiative space, highlighting young/emerging design graduates, and “STYLE & STEEL” which turns a special focus on the Men Behind the Mercedes-Benz luxury Car Wheels, and the annual fashion business seminar.
