Clearly, the Nigerian fashion industry continues to grow. Marayah O, a new brand in the industry recently released its latest collection named “Street Style Alpha.” Marayah O is a fashion and lifestyle brand that focuses on ready to wear designs for women.
Bola Yinka-Obebe, the designer behind the brand, is a graduate of Economics from the University of Ilorin who delved into fashion out of a need to satisfy her unique sense of style. The “Street Style Alpha” collection is made up of sophisticated, smart and urban designs any upwardly mobile fashionista will want in her wardrobe.
The collection includes sexy evening dresses, smart day dresses, trendy jackets and dressy shorts that flatter a woman’s body. For Obebe, she drew her inspiration for the collection from her idea that we live our lives mostly on the streets (outside our homes) hence the name and collection. The “Street Style Alpha” collection, for her, is about being fashionable while we go about our daily life routines.
