Ladybrille Music: X.O Senavoe ‘Killing Me’ ft. Mugeez and Teeklef (Audio)

Ladybrille Artist to watch X.O Senavoe releases his latest track ‘Killing Me’ geared for the ladies as we prepare for Valentine’s Day. ‘Killing Me,’ a departure from what we are used to from him, features Ghana’s Mugeez, a member of the group R2Bees, and USA based Nigerian emerging artist Teeklef. The track takes more of a commercial feel with the hook being what you would hear in Ghana and Nigeria’s mainstream music scene.

For us at Ladybrille, we wanted to know why X.O wrote a song about love. “I love the idea of love and how good, real love can inspire in ways most things can’t,” said the artist  to Ladybrille Magazine. “I also think women are God’s special gift and love all the women who have appreciated my music in a huge way – I mean it’s been awesome. So, with February here, the ahem month of love – I thought it was fitting to show my appreciation through this song.”

Putting a spin on his track, X.O tells us, “you could even consider it an un-traditional proposal to a girl of one’s’dreams who’s been there with you through it all. ‘Remember when the only thing we had were those crazy dreams, love, and the Color Me Bad song. And I would sing it just to see your reaction. High-“Five” like some young Michael “Jackson”s.'”

X.O Senavoe’s EP drops soon.  In the meantime, enjoy his new release.
