The Jo Maxwell Show produced and hosted by British-Nigerian Jo Maxwell is back with season two.
Maxwell kicked off season two last month with a luxurious launch party at the Hilton Hotel in Paddington. The launch party included guests from the show, media representatives, influencers as well as her fans and supporters.
The Jo Maxwell Show is aimed at black women globally and broadcasts on two channels on Sky TV; FAME TV and VoxAfrica. Maxwell launched her show in 2017 to give women an opportunity to showcase their successes and counteract the lack of representation of Black women in the UK within the media.
“I want to change the narrative of black women and show the positive success stories that go untold (while) showcasing some of the inspiring and amazing black people who have done so well for themselves in the UK and across the globe,” said the beautiful host.
“Season 2 will also be tackling real life issues and topics that the Black British Community is not always confident talking about i.e. raising a child with special needs, mental health issues, getting cosmetic surgery done, the lack of support of black businesses and lots more.” she added.
