Industry Moves: Godson Ukaegbu Named New EIC for Mania Magazine Post Dimeji Alara Abrupt Exit

To say many within and outside Nigeria/Africa’s Fashion Industry were surprised when co-founder and Editor-in-Chief Dimeji Alara announced his abrupt exit from Mania Magazine, would be an understatement. Less than a week after his announcement, Mania Magazine moves on with naming a new Editor-in-Chief.

See the statement below.

“. . . 2013 has been an exciting year and we could not have made it so, without
our brilliant readers and ingenious creative team. We are very excited to announce our new Editor-In-Chief, Godson Ukaegbu, who brings his years of dedication and foresight to head this team. Our promise is one of always stretching the boundaries and bringing inspirational African fashion stories.”
