Tanzanian Designer, Mustafa Hasssanli, will show his Pink Desert Collection at the Colour in the Desert Fashion Week in Bostwana. The event will be held from August 31st, 2012 to September 1st, 2012.
Pan African Designer from Tanzania, Mustafa Hassanali has been invited at the 2nd Edition of The Colour in the Desert Fashion Week 2012 in Gaborone for the second year in a row from 31 August to 1 September.
“As the only designer from Tanzania to be invited at this prestigious Fashion Week in Botswana, I am very excited and honored to launch my new collection, the fourth one. This year 2012, I look forward to using this opportunity to promote our culture and strengthening ties existing between Botswana and Tanzania and within Africa at large,” said the designer.
This Collection is named Pink Desert Collection which consists of Mustafa Hassanali |signature Gown but also some pieces of ready to wear and men’s wear that summates the vast richness of this collection by addition of vintage buttons and zips.
The collection is being launched at an opportune moment just as we nearing the month of October which is globally known for breast cancer Awareness.
“I shall use this collection also to advocate Breast Cancer Awareness and the need for every woman to self examine themselves. To think and wear Pink is to be aware of Breast Cancer, a reality which has been the cause of leading cause of death in women.” Concluded Hassanali
Mustafa Hassanali has already launched three collections in 2012: Afrikalos collection in Lagos Nigeria, Wedding collection in Dar es Salaam and the Ramadhan Collection in Dakar, Senegal. He has also shown at Fashion extravaganza in Kampala, Uganda and Bangalore fashion week in India.
