Where were all the African film celebrities during the Cannes Film Festival? Supermodel/fashion designer and actress Liya Kebede was the only one, it appears, that strutted the red carpet at the . Nevertheless, some of our film celebrities showed up to the prestigious festival to network, observe, learn and hopefully raise the bar so they can be visibly included in Cannes, very soon.
Actors Yvonne Nadia Buari, Juliet Ibrahim, Yvonne Nelson, Yvonne Okoro, Majid Michel, John Dumelo attended the festival courtesy of Ghana Movie Awards. Nollywood star Genevieve Nnaji was also allegedly spotted hobnobbing with Robert De Niro.
