Flowy spaghetti strapped silk dresses (charmeuse, chiffons), silk organzas and embellished silk floral print dresses were the main acts at the Spring/Summer 2010 Malick Arise Capetown Fashion Week show. It was clear the designer behind the label “gets” a woman’s body.
There were casual dresses with defined waist lines, multi-colored formal dresses and exotic evening dresses, all designed with the contemporary woman in mind. The prêt-à-por⋅ter collection showcased pieces that captured a range of personalities: fun, sophisticated, sexy and graceful. The exciting fact about Malick’s designs? You don’t have to be a size zero to look good in them, now that’s real fashion!
