Arise Africa Fashion Week ’09, Anna Ngann Yonn

“Upon graduating from high school, Anna Ngann Yonn took her passion for clothing design and enrolled at Paris fashion design school, ESMOD, where, after three years of studying in the fields of women’s ready-to-wear and haute couture, she became a stylist.

Anna then opened an art studio/showroom in her native Cameroon, specializing in tailor-made items that soon became a successful business with a strong and constantly growing clientele. In 2001 she opened her first boutique in Douala and launched her own clothing line, Kreyann.

The Kreyann style is pure and simple, with a special touch that makes every piece unique. Fabrics are chosen for their natural components, and the brand’s eclectic clientele is linked by one common thread – an open mind and a love for the unique shapes, colours and the precise details of Kreyann garments.

African Conciousness says of Kreyann, “With KREYANN, this amazing stylist and designer from Cameroon offers us an absolutely stunning collection, rich in originality, and made with such thought and passion that one can only love and appreciate the talent at hand. Pure beauty!”
