Nigeria’s fashion industry personalities are showing the strength of their net-worth and personal brand value. Right on the heels of Munachi Abii becoming the new face of Lux Soap, Arik Air names fashion model and former Miss World, Agbani Darego, as its new Brand Ambassador.
“I’m very excited to be a member of the Arik family. I fly the airline frequently and I must confess that it is unique, and I’m also proud to be part of this experience,” said Darego to the press in a formal press conference today announcing the new relationship.
“This is one of the many steps we are taking to develop Arik Air to a brand that meets the aspirations of Nigerians. We want to ensure Arik becomes a world class airline that we promised at the commencement of operations in 2006,” said Chris Ndulue, Managing Director for Arik Air.
As part of her responsibilities, Darego will be expected to be involved in the promotions and positive branding of Arik Air within and outside Nigeria.
