CCTV Launches Arabic International Channel in North Africa

CCTV China’s premiere TV station China Central Television (CCTV) launched, today, an Arabic International Station. CCTV Arabic will be broadcasted to 300million people across 22 countries in the Arab world including North Africa.

Speaking in a press conference yesterday with reporters, CCTV’s Vice President Zhang Changming explained CCTV’s intention to maintain high standards in programs, technology, management, talent and partnership. He also added CCTV’s goal was to strengthen communications with Arab nations.

CCTV Arabic will feature news, feature stories, entertainment and education.
