Women’s Wear Daily (WWD) reported today a rise of 17.7 percent in China’s export. The increase is reportedly showing a bounce in China’s economy. Independent of the positive economic news for the Chinese, another increase and trend experts have observed is the migration of Africans to China. It is estimated about a quarter of a million Africans live in China, most of whom are traders and students. The range of expriences as African immigrants in China go from positive to alleged racist actions by the Chinese and Chinese goverment against these immigrants.
