Actress Charlize Theron Designs Shoe for Africa

Native South African and Academy Award winner Charlize Theron has teamed up with Toms Shoes to co-design a limited-edition of shoes inspired by Africa. Profits from the shoes, which are embellished with an image of an African baobab tree, will benefit Theron’s non-profit Charlize Theron Africa Outreach Project, an organization dedicated to improving the health, education, and social development of students in South Africa.

“I’m thrilled to have TOMS Shoes as a partner,” says Theron. “We are so grateful for their generous donation of shoes to the students we work with. It’s exciting that we’re able to come together in such a cool and creative way to bring attention to the needs of many South African youth.”

The shoes which retail for $54.00 each can be purchased exclsuively at Tomshoes.com
