In October 2009, she launched AK Worldwide, her company which will handle all of her non-music projects.
The same October she launched her jewelry line, The Barber’s Daughters, a handcrafted jewelry line engraved with messages of hope and wisdom.
In November she signed movie and TV deals which includes an NBC TV series contract.
December 1st, 2009 she held a WORLD AIDS Day concert with proceeds benefitting her Keep a Child Alive non-profit organization.
She plans an upcoming launch of iamasuperwoman.com celebrating inspirational women.
