Global luxury brands, like their non-luxurious counterparts, are all determined to get a piece of the rising middle class and the wealthy Nigeria. To that end, we are seeing these brands expand their reach to diverse industry sectors, including employing marketing strategies and tactics to ensure reach.
A case in point is the recent announcement and launch of the Jaguar Fashion Awards in Lagos, Nigeria.
Known as one of the world’s best luxury car manufacturer, Jaguar explains its goal is to seek “to partner with platforms that excite the imagination, particularly focusing on rich heritage and authentic design.”
The Jaguar Fashion Awards has no voting system associated with the awards. Award organizers will vet and hand select winners based on their respective success track record.
What are your thoughts on the marketing and promotional strategy employed by Jaguar to expand its brand? Let us know in the comment section below.
Also check out a list of the finalists that made the cut for the inaugural event. They include names like Tiffany Amber, Deola Sagoe & Maki Oh.
