On Sunday 15th September, 2013 Lagos Socialities, Fashionistas and some of the Most Recognized names in Fashion, Beauty and Lifestyle gathered at The Social Place, Victoria Islandfor the official Launch of Bola Balogun’sGlam Report-A TV Magazine show currently been aired on DSTV’s AfricanMagicEntertainment Channel 151.Put together by the talented team at No Surprises Events, the Glam Report Launch party was everything one would expect from a Fashionistas Night Out.
Guests at the event included Nkiru Anumudu, Deola Bali, Agbani Darego, Designer,Folake Folarin Coker, Nollywood stars Rita Dominic & Kate Henshaw, Music maven,Banky Wellington and TV Favourites’Jumia Shaba & Uti Nwanchukwu amongst others.The evening started with a cocktail reception at the garden, guests enjoyed the sparkling taste of Mateus Rose and the delicious bites prepared by seasoned Chef, Temi Soleyewhile they mingled and networked in the midst of light sounds provided by DJ Obi.
A special pamper room sponsored by Imperial Leather, Dark & Lovely & Sleek Nigeriawas prepared for guests to get touched up and relax.Guests were later ushered in for the screening of the shows second episode. The M .C of the evening, Founder -Opinion Former, Fauzi Fahm introduced guests to the shows presenters; Michelle Dede, Didi Ocheja & Fade Ogunroto a roaring applause. Michelle then gave a heartfelt introduction to the show’s Producer, Mrs. Bola Balogun, who for the first time was put on the spot as she explained the reason for her involvement in the show and how Glam Report was born from her passion to share the wonderful and inspiring stories of African Creatives.
It was truly an inspiring evening.
