In the same year she showcased at the debut Mpumalanga Fashion Week. She has built a strong client base through her customised/tailored service to leading, influential women in the corporate environment that are looking for clothing that’s elegant, stylish and fashion forward.
Karabo values impeccable workmanship and aims for her products and services to be of the highest industry standards. Her philosophy is that local textile and clothing industry collaborations will further boost South African design talent, helping us move a step closer towards world class players in competitive global industry.
Inspiration for the Autumn/Winter collections looks back to the 1930’s – a daring decade characterized by the working woman’s tailored mannish suit. Chic is juxtaposed with the feminine glamour of floor length evening gowns. The collection is inspired by the icons of the 30’s: Marlene Dietrich, Elsa Schiaparelli and Joan Crawford. Colours are cool airy blues, soft warm green and mustard against a grey and navy backdrop.”
