The event is hosted by celebrated Hollywood actress Ebbe Bassey (A spoonful of Sugar, Siri Oko Fo, Say Grace Before Drowning), and will include a special award presentation to Global Activist and Philanthropist – Saran Kaba Jones.
Special guests this year include Chidi Mokeme – Nollywood Actor and Anchor of Ultimate Gulder Search, Cycle 6 America’s Next Top Model finalist and International Fashion Model- Nnenna Agba, Alexander Ore, CEO – LexxisTalking, Osi Peters, CEO and Editor in Chief of Hotly Inc, and Dr. Angel Adelaja – Miss Nigeria in America 2010.
This glamorous event features smart, beautiful and educated Nigerian-American women in the United States of America. Delegates from across the country travel to the host city for 5 days leading up to the live event.
They are judged in five categories: Native Nigerian wear, Swimsuit, talent, evening gown and interview, as they compete for the title of Miss Nigeria in America.
The Miss Nigeria in America Pageant identifies Nigerian women in the US who exemplify beauty, talent, supremacy and intelligence. It aims to create new role models who through the organization will serve as ambassadors that will define a new Nigeria, enrich the beauty of the Nigerian Woman and enhance a new strength, energy and spirit for the advancement of women.
