Kenya, the leading economy in East Africa, prepares to receive 2000 delegates from across the globe for the 8th Annual AGOA conference. The AGOA conference will be held August 3rd-6th, 2009 at the Kenyatta International Conference Centre (KICC) in the nation’s capital city, Nairobi.
The 2009 AGOA conference is organized by Kenya’s Ministry of Trade in collaboration with US Government and this year’s theme is titled “Realising the full potential of AGOA through expansion of trade and investment.”
There are many plenary sessions planned throughout the week one of which includes, “Rejuvenating the Supply Chain in Cotton, Textiles and Apparel” and “AGOA nuts & bolts/toolkit session.”
