The world seems to be fascinated by African culture and design. So why isn’t the fashion industry on the continent blowing Paris and New York out of the water? The issue appears to be as complex as the patterns of African prints. To help understand what investors are looking for in the industry CNBC Africa is joined by design giants David Tlale, JJ Schoeman and the Group Marketing Manager of African Fashion International Sizwe Ndimande.

    Interesting and very true. I use prints from Holland because there is no textile companies that competes in the world. Buyers from come to Afrika and take our ideas and profit on them whilst we don’t do anything to attract the buyers. Also having unstable governments is a big factor!!
